Conservative involved in a social project in Nelson Ward

Penny Mordaunt MP and members of Portsmouth North Conservative Association have been helping to give the Stamshaw and Tipner Leisure Centre a facelift.

The Portsmouth North MP has long had an association with the centre and wanted to set up the social action project to help local user have somewhere nice to meet.

As part of the work that was involved, Penny recruited local businesses to give up their time, for free, to help decorate, lay new floors, hang doors and a professional electrician came in to improve the wiring in the centre.
